It is Clarissa and Ricky’s pleasure to have you witness their union amongst family and friends.
OUR STORY
It began with denim shirts.
One day in Los Angeles during the summer of 2010, Clarissa stepped into the elevator at the office and locked eyes with Ricky who was wearing a denim shirt that matched the one she had on. The space was too small to ignore the awkward silence, so Clarissa said “I like your shirt” and he responded “I like yours too”.
Not long after, they spotted each other on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Blvd during their lunch break. She asked him to join her and off they went to Corner Bakery. They became “lunch buddies” and developed a close friendship over the next year. She enjoyed his warmth, worldliness and k-pop aesthetic. He admired her genuine character, lovely smile and fondness of chinese cuisine.
From Corner Bakery to Subway, Jones on Third to China Catering, both eventually moved onto different offices and lost contact over the years. However, something always kept them in each other’s thoughts. In 2015, Ricky sent Clarissa a message through LinkedIn with a simple, “how are you these days”. Their relationship evolved from lunch buddies to dinner dates, and the rest is history.

01. Why on a Tuesday?
October 13th 2020 is our 5 year anniversary. We feel incredibly lucky to have this also be our official wedding date.
02. What should we expect?
We will send an email a few days before the ceremony with zoom link and what to expect.
03. How should we celebrate afterwards?
Please have a glass ready to cheers us after our first kiss as husband and wife. We will be setting up mini celebrations with each of you throughout the rest of the day as well.
04. What’s the dress code?
Please wear your Tuesday best, bare minimum something dressy on top for the cameras!
05. Who’s taking photos?
We will be recording the ceremony through zoom and capturing screenshots on our end. Feel free to screenshot but please refrain from posting on social to keep this as intimate as possible.
06. Is there a registry?
Saving it for 2022.
